These rare photos belong to the Marubi archive. They give a view of the city of Shkodra flooded by the river Kir. They were shot by Col Marubi on December 31, 1935. Apart from the historical curiosity, the photos prove that the phenomenon is early. The floods stopped for a period during the communist system to return again after the 1990s.
